This presentation provides a deep dive into airline Twitter data from 2015 provided by Kaggle. To gain airline sentiment insights from the data, I used Tableau to visualize the data analytics and help identify trends, patterns, graphs, and charts included in this presentation.
Insights include: • A storm causing delays and negative sentiment as people tweet more when they're mad.
• JetBlue experienced backlash for the use of “on fleek” in a tweet and was mistaken for Delta.
My Digital Marketing class with the Social Media Professor at Chapman University, allowed us to work with a local and student-loved coffee shop called Contra Coffe and Tea. We collaborated with Contra's management team to create a digital marketing plan including a social media analysis, mockups and goals to reach during the semester. Sadly, the owners did not implement these ideas, but here is what we presented to them!

In my time in Madrid at UC3M our Final International Business Management class I worked in a fully international and multilingual group on a thorough exportation plan of Estrella Galicia to Germany. This presentation includes extensive research of the company's history, products, and market position. It then analyses the beer industry and the target market for Estrella Galicia in Germany and discusses the company's marketing mix and recommendations for entering the German market.
The Entrepreneurship and Capital Ventures class I took, tasked me and my assigned team with creating a venture that we presented in front of an angel investor. My team created Fit Foods. Inc., a healthy Chipotle-style restaurant for people with extreme fitness/healthy lifestyles such as bodybuilders and professional athletes. Fit foods, hypothetically based in Los Angeles, would include a very detailed calorie and ingredients list, a take-home meal-prep option, and be potentially located in gyms. Find out more about Fit Foods Inc. in our summary Business plan!
In my Management Information Systems class, I chose the fashion retailer Zara to improve their user-friendliness IRL (in real life) and in-person stores. My team and I researched technology solutions to improve the customer shopping experience. To implement our suggestions, Zara will implement augmented reality fitting rooms, self-checkout kiosks, and a redesigned website. The changes will reduce wait times and give customers more control over their shopping experience. Find out more in the slides and detailed document about Implementing these IT Solutions at Zara!
During my Production and Operations Management class, we were taught the intricacies of running a business. From supply chain management, competitive strategies, sustainability, ecology, project management, and financial forecasting, to quality metrics, capacity measurements, waiting lines, MRP and IT Systems, ERP Systems, and Inventory Management. In my Marketing and Product Design class, we were tasked with creating a product or service and presenting it in front of the class and my team and I came up with GradHack! GradHack is an interactive 4-year course planning software that simplifies the academic scheduling process for students, showing them the most efficient pathway to their degree, planning to have a user-friendly platform that integrates with the back-end system of educational institutions, providing students with a comprehensive view of their degree requirements, course sequencing, and available options.
In my first Data Analytics class, we were tasked with creating insights for our supervisor (professor) as his analytics team. I volunteered as team leader and delegated tasks according to my team member's strengths. Given the data from several DelTaco locations in Orange County, CA we used our Excel knowledge like VLookup, Pivot tables, IF, IFELSE, and many other formulas at our disposal to filter, clean and analyze the provided data. Check the presentation out to see what insights and suggestions my team "Lima" came up with!
